Company founder Steve Urban believes that the key to Inland Litho's
success lies in its philosophy of teamwork.
"When asked about my title, I prefer to be called 'coach' rather
than 'company president' or 'owner', since I really just coach
the Inland Litho team," says Urban. "This idea made so much sense,
we took it one step further. Members of our management team are
now known as 'offensive/defensive coordinators' or 'assistant coaches,'
sales representatives are known as 'quarterbacks,' and employees
are called 'players.' These are the titles we use now."
Urban promotes his philosophy of teamwork by aiding the development
of company players through one-on-one coaching, seminars, motivational
speakers and regular company-wide communications.
